Great Tree Zen Temple publishes two newsletters each year: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter.
The goal of our newsletter is to tell the story of Great Tree. We share stories and challenges of building a sangha and is a wonderful way to get to know Great Tree’s every-day practice opportunities. We supplement the printed pages with supplementary monthly email updates and here on our website.
Here is what you can expect to find:

- program calendar
- registration information and forms
- volunteer opportunities
- member reports and reflections
- teachings and writings by Teijo and guest teachers
- Board of Directors reports and updates
We share the stories and the challenges of building a community. It is a wonderful way to get to know more about Great Tree’s growth.

Do you have a story or article for the newsletter?
Members or practitioners, if you would like to share your thoughts about practice, community or study at Great Tree, please send your proposal to us by email, attention “Newsletter Editor”.
We will pass it along for consideration. Photos from events are welcome, too! Be patient and remember our newsletter staff is made up of volunteers.
Do you enjoy working with others and have some free time?
The newsletter is a collaborative, volunteer project. We also need help with mailing and distribution from time to time with this and other mailings. Send email to the attention of our Volunteer Coordinator. You can also help by sharing your copy with others.
