Sesshin and Retreat Fees

Effective  April 1, 2011

We offer a prepaid deposit option when registering up to 14 days prior to an event. The balance due is on arrival.  We do not have credit card processing on location.

Deposits are 50% of the total fee (for events over $100).

We request that you remit the full payment if you register after 14 days. Registration closes 3 days before the event begins or if we fill available beds.  If the event fills, you can elect to be added to a waiting list and we will notify if there are cancellations.

Registration is complete when you have submitted a Personal Information Form (required) along with your  deposit or full fee. We ask that you return the form by snail mail to protect your privacy. You will find the form under the PROGRAMS menu above.

Our on-line events registration module will allow you to reserve a  place in an event and pay by check or through a securely through PayPal or by using your credit-card.

Please be mindful as you fill out the forms; your contact information will not be shared.

Scholarships for Sesshins and Retreats

Scholarships may be available for certain events. Please contact the Registrar to learn more.

Overnight Stays Before & After Retreats

Fees for overnight stays: Non-members: $60/Members – $40.00

If it is necessary to arrive early or stay over  for an event, you will be asked to follow the Great Tree  daily practice schedule of activities. The day begins at 6am and lights out at 9pm. We do not provide lodging to the general public.

Please advise us at time of registration for the event.

Cancellation Policy

• If you need to cancel, please let us know promptly.
• Cancellation must be received in writing by email or snail mail.
• If Great Tree received your cancellation seven (7) days before the event, all but a $25 processing fee will be reimbursed, if requested. Great Tree reserves the right to cancel an event with 48 hours notice (this is rare).
• If Great Tree cancels an event, the entire amount of the registration will be reimbursed.

• Great Tree will not reimburse any incurred travel expenses.
