Family Practice includes a short period of meditation, and may include stories, plays, origami, sculpey buddhas or other activities. Parents, children, and all others interested are welcome to attend. Cost: dana to Great Tree.

Children’s Retreat: July 1-4

Theme: The Four Noble Truths and Right Speech. For school-aged children without parents. Includes meditation, chanting, study and working together Children will have opportunities to learn how to ring bells for service and other forms of Zen practice. Parents do not have to be present but may be asked to assist in various ways if necessary.

Cost: $100 per child for members; $120 per child for non-members

Family Weekend: July 4-6

Theme: Compassion & Bodhisattva Practice. Families exploring Buddhist Practice together.

Cost: $120 for one adult and child. $30 for each additional family member.
